Creepy Photos Of Abandoned Mental Hospitals

Published 9 years ago

He goes around abandoned mental hospitals, some dating back to 19th century, and photographs their decaying insides. It’s not all peeling painting and cracked windows: Harris also documents scratches on the walls and various “artifacts”, like toothbrushes with embossed plastic name tags, that were left behind.

Jeremy Harris is an American photographer whose pictures had been published in Wired and Rolling Stone. He is recognized for his fine art and commercial photography. Asylums are a sort of hobby for him. Harris likes how he can take the pictures at his own pace, and he likes to imagine the lives and experiences of people who lived and died in the asylums.

Martynas Klimas

Writes like a mad dervish, rolls to dodge responsibility, might have bitten the Moon once.

Got wisdom to pour?
