Incredible 3D Graffiti Illusions By Portuguese Artist Odeith

Published 10 years ago

Portuguese mural artist Odeith stands out from other urban painters with his mind-bending 3D graffiti works. Using deceptive shadows, hues, and other tricks, he manages to bring his 2D murals to life and make his paintings look as if they truly leap off the walls.

Odeith started creating graffiti in the mid 90s, but it was only in 2005 that he gained international recognition for his anamorphic murals. He uses unconventional locations to pull his graffiti works into the third dimension, such as the inner corners of walls. He also sprays his paintings onto the walls as well as onto the floor, allowing him to play with optical illusions.
