Spine-Chilling Lion Sculpture Made Of 4,000 Pieces Of Scrap Metal
Istanbul-based artist Selçuk Yılmaz presents his recent masterpiece – a suspenseful and highly detailed metal sculpture Aslan (lion in Turkish). The sculptor took 10 months to complete the work, which is larger than himself and weighs about 550 pounds (250kg). The work is combined from almost 4,000 pieces of scrap metal that Yilmaz hand-cut and hammered all by himself.
