Kitty Gets A Professional Photoshoot After A Photographer Friend Babysits Her (10 Pics)

What happens when you let your photographer friend babysit your cat? You get a professional cat photoshoot.

Recently, a woman named Miranda McDonald asked her Josell Mariano to babysit her cat, Jade. Being the good friend that he is, Josell agreed – but he clearly had other plans than just cleaning up kitty litter and refilling the food bowl. He decided to take it a step further and organized Jade a nice photoshoot that even you would be jealous of.

“My friend is a photographer for musical artists and was on tour for 2 months for Julia Micheals and Bea Miller so I had Jade all that time,” said Josell in an interview with Bored Panda. “[She] is super sweet! Every morning, she jumps on the bed for pets and cuddles, and same at night when we go to sleep. The rest of the day, she follows me from room to room, usually finding a sunbeam to sleep in. Things she gets scared of are loud noises, soft noises, sudden movements, slow movements.”

Josell says he loves cats and thinks they’re just like cute furry roommates that you can watch TV with.

Of course, this was no ordinary photoshoot shot on a mobile phone – Josell went all out with a professional camera and lenses and even studio lighting! However, the photographer says capturing Jade was no easy task. “Jade was a better model than I thought but was still super wiggly,” said Josell. “She was distracted by treats and her favorite toy (which is a broken string on a stick).”
