To Sijka, these cats are almost mystical beasts, and in his photo series he makes that visible to the rest of us: "My passions are cats and photography, I do my best to combine these two things as good as possible," writes Sijka. And that combination worked magically by revealing the majestic side of these impressive animals.
His inspiration came from a similar "photo of Dolce Vita and De La Loo - two of the most majestic black Maine Coons... photographed beautifully on a simple black background," Robert revealed to Cat Behaviourist. After that came his own shots at capturing the almost mystical nature of these cats, and the results are simply incredible.
