Woman Recreates 22 Celebrity Outfits For Pennies To Show That You Don’t Have To Be Rich To Look Stylish

Published 6 years ago

Sheri Pavlovic is a Canadian fashion blogger, author, and DIY diva who believes everyone should be able to have fabulous style without breaking the bank. And to prove her point, she recreated 22 celebrity outfits for mere pennies.

“Secondhand fashion is a wonderfully affordable way to fill your wardrobe with the looks you love, and it’s also eco-friendly!” says the DIY diva. “Unfortunately, many people continue to think that the laundered clothing donated to swaps, thrift stores, and charity shops is somehow dirtier and less hygienic than a “brand new” garment that has traveled through many different factories, hands, and machines worldwide without being washed even once.”

Sheri says that next time you’re trying recreate a celebrity outfit, you should look no further than your own closet or a secondhand shop: “with a bit of imagination you’ll be able to put together something similar for next to nothing!”

Check out the recreated celebrity outfits in the gallery below!

One day, this guy just kind of figured - "I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?" - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!

Got wisdom to pour?
