20 Clever Interpretations Of Public Spaces Through Street Art By Frankey
In the bustling streets of cities worldwide, there exists a hidden world of art that transforms mundane spaces into realms of imagination. Among the artists who breathe life into these urban canvases, Frankey stands out for his ingenious interpretations of public spaces.
With a blend of humor, subtlety, and boundless creativity, the artist’s street art installations have become a source of delight for pedestrians, turning ordinary streets into galleries of wonder. In an interview with DeMilked, Frankey revealed how he got inspired. He said, “The big aha moment for me was the first time I got my hands on Banksy’s book (Wall and Piece). I knew graffiti and always liked it because of the bright colors it added to the cityscape. But Banksy showed me that art in public space could also be very funny and smart. Actually I immediately started after reading the book.”
Talking about his creative process, the artist said, “It’s the same like looking at clouds and try to see animals and stuf like that. But I do this in the street :)” Check out some of his best works in the gallery below.
