“Cursed Food”: 30 Photos Of The Most Unimaginable Things People Did To Food

Published 12 months ago

Some people go out of their way to prepare an interesting dish. According to historians, in medieval times pies used to be baked with birds inside of them so that when the dish was cut to be served the birds would fly out. This was likely quite the entertaining spectacle, however, one can only imagine the nasty mess of feathers and other excrements of live birds packed into a small space.

While cooking should be a delightful experience some may even go so far as to call it cursed when dealing with such debacles. One Facebook group, “Cursed Food” finds the best (or worst in this case) examples of such stomach-turning fiascos that seem almost unbelievable. But as we love to say, why believe us when you can see it with your own eyes? So scroll below if you dare, and don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Shanilou Perera

Shanilou has always loved reading and learning about the world we live in. While she enjoys fictional books and stories just as much, since childhood she was especially fascinated by encyclopaedias and strangely enough, self-help books. As a kid, she spent most of her time consuming as much knowledge as she could get her hands on and could always be found at the library. Now, she still enjoys finding out about all the amazing things that surround us in our day-to-day lives and is blessed to be able to write about them to share with the whole world as a profession.

Got wisdom to pour?
