His Wife Left Him With Nothing But His Dog, So He Started This Fun Project

When your wife leaves you with nothing more than an empty apartment and a bull terrier, what do you do? Why, draw comical situations for the dog with a marker pen and take pictures! That's what Rafael Mantesso did when his wife left him on his thirtieth birthday. Together with his bull terrier Jimmy Choo, they pretended watching Mad Men, getting shot out of a canon, joining KISS… all in drawing, of course!

“After my divorce all I had was Jimmy, and blank empty walls. I realised they made a great white canvas background for light-hearted pictures with Jimmy as the star,” Montesso said in an online interview. Taking pictures is great way to spend time with his dog. And they have already attracted the attention of fashion brand and terrier namesake Jimmy Choo Ltd., which will make accessories with his likeness.

The pictures have also been put into a book.
