Artist Finds Fallen Branch, Makes A Book Shelf

Sometimes, life gives you branches and you make bookshelves out of them. That’s what Sebastian Errazuriz did. Bilbao – named after the street he found it in – is a black shelf made out of a tree branch. It’s of respectable size and the shape was dictated by the branch.

Errazuriz twisted and sanded the branch to get it into the shape he needed. He then lacquered it black and added glass shelves to hold the books. Errazuriz is Chilean artist and this isn’t the first branch shelf that he has made; we included the others at the end of the post!
