This Photographer Captures All The Chaos That Happens During Weddings (30 Pics)

They say a wedding is your special day but even the most special days aren’t spared from a few mishaps here and there. Wedding photographers try hard to capture all the beautiful moments of the ceremony and the photos often make it look almost too perfect. However, one photographer isn’t afraid of capturing and sharing some wedding “bloopers” too – and they are absolutely hilarious.

Ian Weldon describes himself as “not a wedding photographer”. He is completely unbiased in the photos he takes and believes in a sort of democracy when it comes to taking photographs – to him, no photograph is more important than the other. “Much as I’d love to stand around for hours lining people up and taking photographs of every combination of family members and guests, I’ve more important things to be doing. And quite frankly, so have you,” explained the photographer.

It’s hard not to fall in love with the photographers raw and honest style. In an interview with Bored Panda, Ian said he started shooting weddings as a way to earn money for other photography projects.”When I found that weddings were fruitful ground for great photographs, and they had not really been approached as a documentary subject they became the project,” explained Ian.

Ian collected some of his greatest works in a photography book titled “I Am Not A Wedding Photographer“. You can also see some of his photos on display at the Martin Parr Foundation from June 26 to August 10th, 2019.
