Head Hammock That Will Finally Let You Sleep Comfortably On A Plane

Published 8 years ago

If you ever had a long overnight trip, you know the main problem with it – sleep. However flexible you are, those plane chairs will torture you for the whole trip, leaving you sore in all places for that first day of your dream vacation. Well, at least that was the case until Paula Blankenship got to it.

Paula is the creator of the NodPod – a head hammock that recreates the way you sleep in bed, with your head at a 90-degree angle but in an upright position. Sure, it’s not the classiest looking thing, but it might still look better than your face after a sleepless trip.

The design also takes other passengers into consideration as it doesn’t cover the screen on the headrest of the person behind you. Just hope that annoying kid in the next row can’t reach it…

You can pre-order the NodPod for $25 on Kickstarter.
