Hidenobu Suzuki has already shown us the natural beauty of Spring in Japan. And now he invites you to enjoy the rainy season in a country that seems to have no days off when it comes to showcasing its sophisticated beauty.

Some of his photographs can easily be confused for paintings, and that’s no coincidence: “I wanted my pictures to evoke emotion like Japanese paintings do,” Hidenobu told Bored Panda.

And they sure do, giving us a more moody glimpse into the lands of the rising sun.
