25 Terrifying Photos From LA’s Biggest Firestorm

The photos and videos showing the devastation caused by the fires currently raging across Los Angeles are utterly tragic. To think it's been only a few days into the start of a new year, and the scale of damage the residents of this county are dealing with is sad, to say the least. Five different fires have sparked up and engulfed thousands of acres since Tuesday, January 7. The destruction appears almost apocalyptic in nature and the Palisades Fire in particular has burnt through more than 17,000 acres, according to CNN, which dubbed it “the most destructive ever in Los Angeles County.” Scroll to check out some photos showing the catastrophe below.
