20 Photos By Photographer Sandra Juncker That Show How Much You Can Tell About A Person By Looking At Their Fridge
Sandra Juncker is a German designer and photographer who has been documenting people and their fridges since 2012 in a project she calls Show Me Your Fridge! The woman has photographed people all over the world, including the UK, Turkey, Germany, Spain, France, and South Africa, and showed just how much the contents of a fridge can tell about a person.
In her project, Sandra wanted to find out what the contents of the fridge can tell about the people that use it. “Do we have a special system filling it? What belongs in our fridges and what do we eat? Is there any difference or similarity between different cultures, countries, ages or flat sharing?” asks the photographer on her project page. “Do we keep leftovers and how do we store them? The trend goes even more now towards a responsible handling with food like bio produced items or special diets. Do we see this in our fridges? Are we finding our fridges filled with a superfluous amount of food where we end up taking from the first row and forgetting about the rest? ”
