A pet you’ll never have to feed, walk or bathe? Yes, it exists. And it’s a rock. A device that makes it feel like you’re holding someone’s hand from anywhere in the world? I’m afraid that this project is already in progress. Although there are no limits to imagination, there’s only so much you can invent that people will actually benefit from.
Nevertheless, people stumble upon some strange objects in their surroundings from time to time. Usually, it’s something modern generations no longer utilize, rarely use or an item with a particular purpose. But they used to be a thing. Ages ago. But that doesn’t make them any less interesting. It turns out that there’s an entire subreddit dedicated to all those mysterious objects that make you question, “What Is This Thing?”. Bellow, look at some objects people have posted and what the Redditors thought they were for.
