Stunning Tentacles With Giant Polka Dots Exhibited In Yayoi Kusama’s Dreamy Exhibition At Miami Fest

Published 1 year ago

Yayoi Kusama’s “LOVE IS CALLING” exhibition at Pérez Art Museum Miami is an aesthetic wonder for those who want to escape into a dream world. With the huge inflated tentacles adorned with polka dots, the exhibition features a series of darkened rooms with poetry and mirrored floors and ceilings all around. Kusama’s voice also echoes through the magical space in which she reads a poem called “Residing in a Castle of Shed Tears”. The poem was written in Japanese and it expresses “a universal message of love”.

The exhibition will be on view at PAMM until February 24, 2024. Check out some glimpses of the wonderful audio-visual show in the gallery below.
