Artist Turns Childhood Pictures Into Stylish Tattoos So You Always Have Those Happy Memories On Your Skin

Published 5 years ago

Just recently we’ve covered the story of Turkish tattoo artist Alican Gorgu (aka PigmentNinja) who has quit his boring office job to pursue a career as a tattoo artist. And only months later there is an exciting update on the direction he chose to follow.

Alican has used a simplistic style he calls “Retro Minimal” to transport precious childhood memories from the photo album into a new permanent home – the skin.

The results are sleek interpretations of a memory, with a bit of detail lost in time, yet with the key components left intact and still clearly visible and vivid.

If you went to Alican, what photo would you like to see immortalized on your skin?
