Artist Creates Amazing Wall-Worthy Art Using Old Surfboards (20 Pics)

Published 2 years ago

Claire Marie, a full-time surfboard artist based in Western Australia, creates wonderful paintings on old surfboards and gives them a new purpose.

The artist shares on Bored Panda, “I take old surfboards that have had their time out in the ocean and are destined for the landfill, and I create pieces of art from them. The boards are custom hand-painted pieces, and these are upcycled secondhand surfboards, sealed for display only!”

Her unique acrylic artworks are inspired by nature and they adorn the walls beautifully. Claire further revealed, “Each board has a small handwritten note on the back, which gives a little insight into the story of the board and the artwork.” Check out some of her best works in the gallery below.
