A Chocolate House Has Been Opened In France, And It Costs $59 For A Night

Published 6 years ago

Do you remember the creepy tale of Hansel and Gretel by the Brothers Grimm? Now you can feel like one of the characters without the fear of a cannibalistic witch trying to eat you! A chocolate cottage has been built in Sèvres, France and it’s the dream home of everyone with a sweet tooth.

The Chocolate Cottage, designed by artisan chocolatier Jean-Luc Decluzeau, is 18 square meters in size and it took a whopping 1.5 million tons of chocolate to make. It accommodates up to four people and features everything you can think of made from chocolate – from the walls and roof to cups and books – all this for a mere $59. The lucky guests will even get to take part in a unique workshop dedicated to crafting personalized mini chocolate chalets.

Jean-Luc says he never thought he’d have the opportunity to build a life-size Chocolate Cottage: “I hope guests will relish the chance to experience such a sweet and unique place to stay.” But keep in mind – only a limited amount of nights at The Chocolate Cottage are available, so hurry up, if you want to make it!

One day, this guy just kind of figured - "I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?" - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!
