10 Hobbit-Like Scandinavian Houses With Green Roofs
Scandinavia has been at the forefront of leading the whole world into a greener future by implementing environment-first policies and technologies into everyday lives. Some Scandinavians took it even further by retreating into nature as much as possible and covering their houses with lush vegetation. That’s how green rooftops become a thing and now they’re turning viral in the north.
Scandinavian Green Roof Association (yes, it’s a thing) is encouraging everybody to install their very own green roof. Not only because they look cool, but also because they absorb rainwater, reduce winter heating costs, reduce summer air-conditioning costs, provide insulation, and are long lasting… oh and did we mention how cool they look?
