Totemism is the result of four years of experiencing living in London. Riding the tube during rush hour, living in tiny flats and walking through busy streets. The small spaces and overpriced life was what inspired this piece which is modular, adaptable and accessible.

A totem is any animal, plant, or other object, natural or supernatural, which provides deeply symbolic meaning for a person or social group. In this case, Totemism is a totem for the modern Londoner. Each module has a different expression which represents a different character who you could come across in the city. The modules interact with each other forming combinations that can be peaceful, joyful, explosive or even angry, this being a reflection of what you encounter day to day in the city.
