Photographer Spends 12 Years Taking Pictures Of This Window, Right Up Until Its Final Moment

Published 6 years ago

Not all of us can enjoy seeing stunning sceneries when looking out our windows, but in some cases, even a brick wall with a window can be worth paying attention to. Alper Yesitas from Istanbul has been taking photos of the window that was right in front of his room for 12 years, and even though it might sound like a rather boring thing to capture, the photographer managed to turn it into a dynamic set-up.

Bold red color, curtains passionately dancing in the wind, and moody shadows make each picture special in its own way. Yesitas is happy that the uniqueness of the photos helped them land on book covers and in exhibitions. The series ends dramatically, with a photo capturing that same wall being completely demolished.
