Bold Ad Campaign To Attract Tourists To The Australian North

Published 8 years ago

Australia’s Northern Territory (also known as NT) is trying to attract more tourists with one of the boldest ad campaigns in recent memory “CU in the NT“.

It was created by the guys at NT Official, who are taking it on themselves to bring tourists to the North of Australia: “We want people to recognize that if they want to go to the NT they shouldn’t hesitate. They should just go and tell their friends to ‘CU in the NT!’,” said the NT Official spokesperson.

In all fairness though, the swearword visible in the ad does not have as harsh of a meaning as it does in America, and it’s used as a slang bit more casually down under. So the guys at NT Official are now capitalizing on this idea by selling shirts and singlets featuring their slogan.
