This Photographer Asked 16 Artists To Draw His Portrait Photos In Their Own Style
Mathieu Stern is a photographer who loves experimenting with all sorts of interesting lenses (he even has a vast collection of them) and techniques to create his portraits. The photographer says he loves creating images that provide "a new way of looking at the world" and for one of his latest projects, Mathieu collaborated with sixteen artists and had them recreate his portraits in their own distinctive styles.

The photographer says he loves creating images that provide "a new way of looking at the world" and for one of his latest projects, Mathieu collaborated with sixteen artists and had them recreate his portraits in their own distinctive styles.
The photographer got the idea for this project when he discovered the #DrawThisInYourStyle hashtag on Instagram. "I was amazed by the quality of the art I saw and I was wondering how I could collaborate with all those amazing artists, as I was not an illustrator but a photographer," said Mathieu. He contacted one illustrator and asked her to redraw one of his portraits for a Youtube video. She agreed and from the on the photographer started contacting every illustrator he liked on Instagram. After a month, Mathieu already had 16 participants and created a video documenting all of the artists' work process.
