Creative Architects Envision The Construction Of A 550 Meters High Structure Consisting Of 2 Interconnected Giant Rings Around Burj Khalifa
The buildings of Dubai prove that there are so many creative architects in the world. Recently, some architects of the ZN Era space have envisioned the construction of a circular structure around the Burj Khalifa to create an elevated metropolis.
The concept proposes a sustainable, 550 meters high building, in which the structure would consist of 2 interconnected giant rings with a circumference of 3 km. The project named “Downtown Circle” would have houses and apartments, offices, shopping centers and imposing gardens with waterfalls and sand dunes.
It is difficult to say if it’s even possible to bring this complex project to life ever, but the prototype seems quite interesting and the futuristic idea is worth appreciating. And if you like this creative project, check out our previous article about another futuristic project called the line project that aims to build a 170-kilometer-long mirror city.

One of the outer rings will be used as a means of transportation that can take residents from one place of the structure to another in peripheral pods moving at speeds of up to 100 km/h.

This futuristic design aims to act as an alternative to the very rapid urbanization of Dubai and its significant population growth over the past 40 years, according to the design team of ZN Era.
