8 Disney Villains Reimagined As Kids By Vivianne Dubois
Vivianne Dubois is a character designer, animator and game enthusiast currently working at the Submarine production company in the Netherlands. It’s no surprise that many artists have done various recreations of Disney characters before, but this artist came up with a unique idea you’ve never seen before – Vivianne recreated famous Disney villains as little kids and her illustrations are absolutely adorable!

In an interview with Bored Panda, the artist said she loved drawing since she was little. “However, I only started considering it as a career option when I began to visit art schools, trying to figure out where to go after high school,” said Vivianne. “I had studied 2D animation at the Utrecht School of the Arts and now work as an animator for an upcoming series for Amazon Prime.”

She came up with the idea for this project during her first year in art school. She had just started learning how to draw digitally and only drew fan art.

“I just thought it would be interesting to see how the villains might have acted and looked like when they were just naive little kids while trying to maintain their key personality traits at the same time,” said the artist. “That, and I just liked drawing cute stuff.”

Vivianne said she started with Ursula, her favorite character and worked through a list of her other personal favorites. “At first, I wanted to recreate all of the villains but at some point, I just got tired of the project and wanted to move on to other stuff,” said the artist.
