Artist Gives Plants A Second Life By Creating Elegant Floral “Paintings”

Published 10 years ago

Poland-based Elżbieta Wodała creates elegant “paintings” by gluing together different kinds of dried seeds, leaves, petals and other plant parts she collects in parks, gardens, forests and meadows.

The artist explains that the process of making this kind of art isn’t technically demanding – on the contrary, it gives her loads of joy, relaxation, stress relief and immense pleasure to experience the beauty of nature.

Wodała says there are some special ideas behind her art, such as stimulating the imagination, the ecological aspect of giving the plants a second life, promoting communication with nature, and encouraging people to try their hand at the art themselves.
