This Artist’s Comics Show What It’s Like Growing Up In A Chinese Family (34 Pics)

Published 5 years ago

Siyu Cao is a Chinese artist and the creator of Tiny Eyes Comics – a webcomic series where she illustrates “stories about cultural differences and connections.” We featured some of the artist’s comic before and now she’s back with a fresh batch of comics that perfectly illustrate what it’s like growing up in a Chinese family.

You probably heard the stereotype of Asian parents being strict – and Siyu’s comics only confirm that. However, they also show that the strictness is just a facade to hide their unconditional love for their children. See the artist’s comics in the gallery below and check out more here!

Aušrys Uptas

One day, this guy just kind of figured - "I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?" - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!

Got wisdom to pour?
