We ran Instantly for two weeks on a real one-person-business setup, similar to how a solo freelancer would use it: onboarding through Copilot, building out Agents, testing Super Search against our own niche, and launching a live sequence to a prospect list.

The “self-optimizes from reply patterns” claim held up reasonably well in our test: sequences did shift subject lines and framing after a batch of opens/replies came in, though the sample size in two weeks was too small to call it dramatically smarter, just more responsive.

One real cost caveat: this runs on Instantly Credits, at 5 credits per enriched lead. At the Growth tier's 1,000-2,000 monthly credits, that's roughly 200-400 leads a month before you need to top up. Plenty for a solo pipeline, tight for anything more ambitious.

Match quality varies a lot by how narrow your ICP is — tight niche searches tend to return fewer, higher-fit results than broad ones. For our two-week test, from the list of 200 leads that the Lead Finder generated by our hyper-specific search and filters, more than half fit under our ideal ICP.
