Creative Parents Recreate Daughter’s Facebook Selfies

Published 9 years ago

Parents either don’t understand new technology, or understand it too well. Emily Musson learned that when her parents parodied selfies of her and her boyfriend. Imitating angles and colors (and even boyfriend’s signature “thoughtful finger smelling” pose), the parents schooled the young ones to the tune of 30K favorites on Twitter.

Musson, who had posted the pictures on Twitter with the caption “My parents r actually on drugs or something”, was not amused. She responded to the internet attention by posting “I mean I guess it’s funny but not like 30k favs funny.”
