Artist Transforms Strangers Into Pixar-Like Cartoons, And You’ll Want To Become One Too (Part 2)

Published 6 years ago

Lance Phan is a talented 3D artist who mostly focuses on modeling 3D characters and environments. He also turns strangers into Pixar-like characters from simply looking at their pictures and you’ll want to stand in line to get yours done too.

The artist first started experimenting with 3D modeling of characters back in 2014 but says it was a failure. After two years, he gained more anatomy knowledge and got better at Blender, a program used for 3D modeling. Lance started by asking people for pictures to experiment on and with time got better and better at it with time.

Check out the artist’s amazing recreations in the gallery below and if you like it, check out some of his works we featured before!

Aušrys Uptas

One day, this guy just kind of figured - "I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?" - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!

Got wisdom to pour?
