Instagram Account Collects Never Before Seen Celebrity Photos, And 369,000+ People Seem To Love It

Published 6 years ago

When we see celebrities in movies or magazines, we usually can’t imagine them living the same lives as us and having the same daily struggles. But when you think about it, most of them used to live the same ordinary lives we do before becoming famous.

One Instagram account, called velvetcoke, aims to show just that. The account collects rare, old, candid pictures of celebrities just being what they really are – humans. People seem to really love reminiscing about the old days – the account already has almost 370k followers. After all, have you ever seen Cher rollerskating? What about Leonardo DiCaprio Eating Spaghetti?

This wasn’t the only time she wanted them to live a regular life; Diana took the boys to get hamburgers at McDonald’s, rode the tube and the bus, and let them wear jeans and baseball caps. “She very much wanted to get us to see the rawness of real life. One day, this guy just kind of figured - "I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?" - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!

Got wisdom to pour?
