This Artist Creates Brilliant Scrap Metal Sculptures Showing A Variety Of Wildlife (10 Pics)

Published 1 year ago

Leah Jeffery, an artist based in Georgia, creates wonderful sculptures out of old metal scraps. In a note to Demilked, she revealed, “I made my first sculpture four years ago and have been making sculptures on the side ever since. I was in welding school and wanted to work on some cool projects. I saw some people on social media making stuff from spoons and junk and wanted to give it a go. So I did and I really enjoyed it so I kept on making more sculptures.”

This is how she creates these amazing sculptures– “I start off by studying the animal, its shapes and curve and whatnot, then I just start putting piece of scrap together, like a puzzle, till it looks like the animal.”

Check out some of her stunning works in the gallery below.
