We live in a world where the definition of gender is constantly challenged and as every meaning of the word, it evolves with how the society uses it. So, it’s no wonder that things like pink ‘women’ razors and pens raise an eyebrow more often than not. And while it’s still somewhat understandable why companies choose to put gender labels on certain products (like shaving creams and hygiene items), some cases are simply leaving baffled. Teas, bread and kitchen utensils are just a small fraction of weirdly gendered items people found in the stores and they understandably believe that such marketing strategy is completely unnecessary.
