20 Times This Artist Created Hilarious Cartoons About Science, Literature, Pop Culture, And Many Other Things

Published 1 year ago

John Atkinson, a cartoonist hailing from Canada, is best known for his work on the series called “Wrong Hands”. At a young age, John developed a fondness for drawing and went on to pursue his passion by studying fine arts at university. It wasn’t until he started drawing with his own children that he realized his true calling in cartooning.

The artist’s cartoons are often influenced by classic literature, science and technology, and pop-culture stuff which he humorously summarizes in bite-sized synopses. His sense of humor is largely shaped by British comedies like Blackadder, PG Wodehouse, and Monty Python, as well as from other sources such as Charles Schultz’s Peanuts and Gary Larson’s The Far Side.  Check out some of his illustrations below. And if you want to see more of his works, hop on to our previous article here.
