“He’s Going To Destroy My Business”: 3D Printer Business Owner Shares Conversation With Customer From Hell
With everyone dressing up as spooky skeletons or ghosts on Halloween, some people are looking for original ways to stand out. Sadly, not everyone is willing to invest money into a quality costume and Imgur user Ashontez got to experience dealing with one of these persons first hand.
It started pretty tame with the client asking for the artist to make his son a 3D printed Optimus Prime Halloween costume. But it quickly went downhill after the client learned the price. He immediately started calling the artist insane and offered to only pay for the materials. As infuriating as the situation sounds, Ashontez didn’t lose his cool.
Despite the tirade of profanities and threats to ruin his business, the artist told Bored Panda it actually helped attract even more customers: “I’m sure he’s just going to report my profile to Facebook and post a few rants on his timeline about how terrible I am and to never use me. Which, ironically, has helped more people ask for commissions, the traffic to my etsy shop has jumped up quite a bit since posting this yesterday.”
