Elke Vogelsang is a dog portrait photographer hailing from Germany. She lives there with her husband and their two dogs who inspired her journey into dog portraiture. She claims that during a time when her husband fell seriously ill, she was so stressed out that she turned to photography as an outlet to cope. 

The only ‘me time’ she had was oftentimes when she walked the dogs, which eventually led to this amazing passion project, Elke claimed. Scroll below to see some of her creative snapshots of the most expressive dog faces and poses that will surely speak to your heart as it did ours.
