In an interview with Today, the woman said she made her first doll around 5 years ago after a friend’s transgender child was transitioning. After the friend posted pictures of the doll online, people started asking Amy if she could make dolls for their kids too.

“It is a really hard sell to tell a kid, ‘You are perfect the way you are,’ and to build self-esteem that way but never offer them anything that looks like them,” said the woman. “We are going to change the story.”

Amy puts all her love and attention to each of the dolls she creates and the current waiting list for one of her dolls is two years. “I am invited to such an intimate part of families’ lives,” said Amy in an interview with People, “I love that connection.”

One day, this guy just kind of figured - "I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?" - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!

Got wisdom to pour?
