Every Year These Girls Dress Up As Different Versions Of The Same Celebrity, And The Results Just Keep Getting Better
Year after year, one group of friends – Paige, Aida, Jamie, Lindsay, Lauren, Auburn, and Heather – are proving that it’s not only possible to have a group of close friends in you adult years but they also keep surprising us with their unique Halloween tradition. Each year the friends dress up as different versions of the same celebrity and say they’re going to keep the tradition going until they make it on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
This year they dressed up as different versions of Ben Stiller and the results are simply awesome.

In an interview with Bored Panda, Jamie said that everything began 8 years ago when all seven women hired to work at a fashion blog offshoot of an advertising agency. “Our boss was way too much to handle; eventually, it became an unbelievably toxic environment, so we all quit within two weeks of each other and have been best friends ever since!”
2018 Tom Hanks: Toy Story, Castaway, Apollo 13, Forrest Gump, Big, David S. Pumpkins (SNL), A League of Their Own
“We really didn’t overthink it that much; [it] just seemed like a natural thing for a girl gang to do,” said Jamie when asked about how they came up with the idea.
2016 Bill Murrays: Garfield, Space Jam, Caddyshack, The Life Aquatic, Ghostbusters, Kingpin, What About Bob?
Jamie said that choosing the actor isn’t as hard as you might think. “Reddit is very opinionated so that plays a role in the thought process, but we typically just have a quick convo the day after Halloween and one usually becomes the group favorite pretty easily!”
2015 Robin Williams: Mrs. Doubtfire, Mork, Jumanji, Popeye, Hook, Aladdin, The Birdcage
“We decide who’s dressing up as who through mud wrestling,” joked Jamie. “But honestly, no. We have a pick order predetermined for the next 25 years.”
2014 Will Ferrells: Elf, Blades of Glory, Zoolander, Anchorman, Night at the Roxbury, Semi-Pro, Talladega Nights
Sadly, the friends couldn’t meet up on the 2017 Halloween celebration but vow to never miss another year again.
2013 Jim Carreys: Mr. Popper’s Penguins, Dumb & Dumber, The Cable Guy, The Mask, The Grinch, Ace Ventura, Batman Forever
2012 Johnny Depp: Fear and Loathing, Pirates of the Caribbean, Alice in Wonderland, Sweeney Todd, Cry Baby, Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Let’s hope the friends continue to keep the tradition alive and eventually make it on The Ellen Show!
