We see lots of pictures about people’s everyday lives circulating on social media these days. Photographs have become a common form of sharing information nowadays. But things were different in the past– there were no smartphones to capture the everyday events and lifestyles of people.

Even though there were no smartphones in the past, there are still many photos to document historic culture and events.
