Contrary to what some boring textbooks may lead you to believe, there’s more to history than just memorizing the dates of battles or revolutions. The reality is that there were a lot of odd and funny events that happened throughout history – and one Twitter account there is dedicated to collecting and sharing the most interesting ones.

The Twitter account in question is called Weird History and was started by SpaceX engineer Andrew Rader back in 2011. Over the years, the account has amassed a following of nearly 173k people, and if you love history, I’m pretty sure you’ll join in too.
