Man Born Without Hands And Legs Becomes Pro Photographer, And His Pictures Speak For Themselves

Published 6 years ago

Achmad Zulkarnain in an Indonesian photographer who’s work is absolutely beautiful. He not only captures the beauty of his models, he is also able to portray the wonderful Indonesian culture. While looking at his work, before looking at him, you definitely wouldn’t be able to guess that Achmad actually doesn’t have arms or legs. And even though the 24-year-old shutterbug was born disabled, that didn’t crush his resourceful and passionate spirit.

Zulkarnain lacks fingers, but practices his own unique form of dexterity by using his face, mouth, and the extra skin on his arms to operate his professional camera. He even owns a company named DZOEL in order to manage his business.

“I don’t want people to see my pictures and think of who I am – I just want them to see my creativity,” Zulkarnain told Al Jazeera. There is absolutely no doubt that Zulkarnain is an inspiration to everyone that no matter your struggles, we can do anything we dream of.
