1000 People Were Asked To Identify Famous Pop Culture Logos, And The Results Are Surprising

Published 6 years ago

We all know the brand of beer Homer Simpson drinks and the logo of the company where the adorable monsters Sully and Mike Wazowski works and we surely could recognize it anywhere. Or can we? The custom signage company signs.com has decided to test our knowledge on pop culture brands and find out which are the most recognizable.

This company already proved to us that brand logos can be a tricky thing to remember just over a month ago (see the post here) when they published the results of the study focused on the memorability of the everyday brands we see around us all the time. Now they’re back with a survey about the logos and brands we see in films, TV, and video games, trying to find out which are the ones sticks with us the most.

Over 1000 participants of different age groups took part in the study that revealed that the older and more versatile (ones that can be enjoyed by people of all ages) the story is, the bigger the chance that it will be remembered. That could be the reason why Batman’s and Ghostbusters’ logos did so well.

But those two are the easy ones. Take a look down below and see if you can identify the logos other people have struggled with. Let us know how well you did in the comments.
