Someone Created An Instagram For A Soup Ladle And Its 99k Followers Can’t Get Enough Of Its Adventures

Published 6 years ago

The Loch Ness Monster or Nessie is a mysterious creature said to be living in the depths of Loch Ness. And while no one was able to actually find the creature, it inspired many books, movies and… soup ladles.

Samson is a soup ladle that looks like the Loch Ness Monster, owned by a woman named Margaret. She started a hilarious Instagram account for this cute kitchen utensil and so far his adventures have gathered over 99k followers. In an interview with Bored Panda, Margaret said she did not anticipate Samson going this viral and the initial post was just her messing around with Snapchat. “I did think it was pretty cute, which is why I shared it, but I didn’t think it would get that much attention.”

Margaret says Samson is kind of like a pet to her and she’s used to carrying him around and taking pictures of him. “Samson’s cute, which makes people more likely to love him, and just slightly unexpected, and that makes him funny and relatable and fun to share,” says the woman. “He’s also doing things about which many people can say “I’ve done that!”, and I think people like to see their own likes and activities in such a positive light.”

However, his cute looks don’t excuse him from working

And he’s always up for the task

Of course, small mistakes occur sometimes

But he always tries to do his best

Samson seems to have great taste when it comes to Netflix

And is not afraid to get dirty

Like every hard worker, he likes to relax by going to the beach…

Reading…

And even attending weddings!

Samson loves animals

Sadly, all vacations eventually come to an end

But then Samson returns to being the most adorable soup ladle ever

One day, this guy just kind of figured - "I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?" - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!

Got wisdom to pour?
