Mom Bakes Bread With Her Son’s Drawings Inside Them

Published 8 years ago

Art is at it’s best when it transforms something we see and use every day into something cool and unexpected. That’s exactly what Tokyo-based baker Konel Bread is doing by turning her son’s cute drawings into fully edible loafs of bread.

She infuses them with natural ingredients that give color to her pastries, like cocoa, beetroot, spinach and more. Then she forms colored strips of dough that are later placed inside the larger pieces. You never know how the end result is going to look, but so far they’re turned out adorable!
