A young artist by the name of Yang Liu originally from Beijing, China moved to Germany and she was struck by the vast differences in the two cultures. Using her personal experiences as a base, she built a series of illustrations depicting the differences she saw between the two countries in a simple yet creative manner. Conveying a strong message on the differences between German and Chinese cultures, these infographic posters are both accurate and funny. Yang Liu calls her project, “Ost trifft West,” or “East Meets West,” and the images are effectively relatable.
