David Zinn is an artist who doodles all sorts of little characters and pieces on the pavements of Ann Arbor, Michigan. His cute pieces of work first went viral in 2012 when he introduced a green semi-subterranean inhabitant named ‘Sluggo’ to his audience.
David uses chalk and charcoal to depict various creations which he identifies as “ephemeral art” as they are mostly temporary pieces. His speciality lies in being able to look at something completely ordinary such as the cracks, holes and grooves in the pavement and using the gift of Pareidolia and his artistic talents he can bring these otherwise random shapes and specks to life in astonishingly creative ways, as you can see below.
