The creators of the new Sonic design clearly tried to give him a human-like appearance but quickly realized they made a terrible mistake. When the first trailer for the upcoming Sonic movie came out, fans were shocked by the hedgehog's new appearance and it wasn't long before they started creating memes roasting the new character design. In fact, the fans roasted the new Sonic so bad, Jeff Fowler, the director of the film, made an announcement on Twitter assuring that the design will be updated. Let's hope the future design update will make Sonic look more like the video game character we remember and not the abomination that he is today!
