Most hotels and Airbnb's go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible, so it's common courtesy for you to act accordingly. That means being respectful and keeping your mess to a minimum. Now, this may seem pretty obvious but apparently some people think it's completely acceptable to completely thrash the rooms they're staying in and leave it for the cleaners to sort out the mess. One can only guess what goes through someone's mind when they're throwing a soiled diaper behind the ice machine or boiling their dirty underwear in the hotel kettle.
